Avalanche advance to Stanley Cup Final
Avalanche advance to Stanley Cup Final
Colorado Avalanche played a memorable game and advanced to the Stanley Cup Final. The team had already achieved such results in 2001 (against the New Jersey Devils) and 1996 (against the Florida Panthers). This time, during the second match of the series, the Colorado Avalanche met with the Edmonton Oilers in the semifinals and won 8-6.
The game was exciting, and events developed rapidly. Rivals had equal chances throughout most of the game. And the Avalanche's victory became apparent only by the end of the first hour of the match. So, the game ended with a score of 6-5.
Now, the team from Colorado is set to attend the decisive series of the National Hockey League. Depending on the results of other matches, the Colorados will meet with the Tampa Bay Lightning or the New York Rangers.
